No agenda yet, but it seems like a good thing to have ready. All are welcome to apply. Cute vegetarian women aged 24 - 38 receive special consideration. Moz and Lucycat will be leading the special forces feline contingent. Also, this guy is hereby made an honorary member:

Which will only give Jim more ammunition. Though I am considering a complete overhall of this site (and server). Thoughts? Suggestions? Should I switch to podcasting?

I'm raising the threat level as Emily and her family will be visiting Orlando in the near future. Expect the crime rate to go up and our alcohol reserves to go down in corresponding proportions.

Better than TV? It's certainly a good way to waste a lot of time. Why can't they restrict this to pictures of hot chicks from France, Sweden or my bedroom?

Dear TechCrunch,

I can understand Caterina Fake. Rajeev Motwani too. But MC Hammer? Please stop this now, before children and small animals are somehow injured. Do it for them.

Questions: is this a joke? Was it to catch everyone's eye? Did you actually think about it? Is there another conference going on at the same time that booked all of the remaining "experts"? Let's look at Hammer's profile:

MC Hammer is an entrepreneur and American MC who brought rap music to a mass pop audience during the late 1980s and early 1990s, selling millions of copies of his chart topping albums. He is known for his important influence on hip hop culture and music. Following the September 11, 2001 attacks, Hammer released the patriotic album Active Duty on his own WorldHit label and donated portions of the proceeds to 9/11 charities. MC Hammer has a television show on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Hammer is an advisor to stealth Internet start-up Dance Jam.

The last line is the only one that matters --I don't think TechCrunch is a source for Rap music. OK, I'm done ranting. Sorry about the unauthorized photo use...

Regards, Jay

P.S. Now I have his song repeating in my head.

Anyone reading my blog on a regular basis knows how much stupid ads annoy me. This one is up there, because it's stupid and seems...offensive. Where's Al Sharpton when you need him?
